FROZEN FILM REVIEWS

Disney does like to pick up a story based on a fairy tale or myth of the children , this time of Hans Christian Andersen , The Snow Queen , which eventually changed the title to " Frozen " , as synonymous with the season and the theme . Producer Peter Del Velcho ( The Princess & the Frog ) and others choose to appoint a co - director , after Chris Buck ( Pocahontas , Surf Up ! ) Joined . Then elected Jennifer Lee who has often worked as writers and screenplay ( Wreck - it- Ralph ) to become the second director in charge in terms of story . The team created a drastic change from the original story , where the Snow Queen is not an antagonist , but the protagonist . Then the story of brotherhood between men and women turn into sisterhood . With this change , it is possible the emergence of two new Princess , as successor to the milestone success of Princess Rapunzel Tangled passing ( 2010) were a great success . Disney learned from that success, so we 'll find many similar elements with Tangled .

SYNOPSIS
The story begins in the state Arandelle , Princess Ana small ( Livy Stubenrauch ) to wake her sister , Princess Elsa ( Eva Bella ) to play . Elsa has a supernatural ability to create and control ice , including making snowman called Olaf . Without deliberate , Elsa attack on Anna 's head , making him pass out . King & Queen took her to Pabbie ( Ciaran Hinds ) , little troll who can change into stone to heal Anna . Pabbie Elsa suggested that learning to control and conceal his ability , to prevent accidents again to Anna and others . Pabbie Anna heal and make sure that Elsa has power .

Elsa grew close themselves , though Anna keep trying to approach Elsa . After the death of King & Queen , Elsa adults ( Idina Menzel ) is predicted to be a queen . When the coronation ceremony which was attended by people Arandelle and invited guests from other countries , adult Anna ( Kristen Bell ) meets with Prince Hans ( Santino Fontana ) . They fell in love and asked for their blessing to marry Elsa Queen .

Elsa is certainly not new to disagree because Anna Hans , they fight and resulted Elsa burst strength and expose secrets in front of everyone . The instigation of the Duke and his own fears , Elsa fled to the mountains and build the ice castle . Without realizing it , the power of Elsa makes a blizzard that froze the entire Arandelle . Anna handed the leadership of the kingdom while Prince Hans Elsa order to pursue with the help of a young man named Kristoff ( Jonathan Groff ) who understand the intricacies of the mountains , with Sven , his pet deer .

Approaching the castle , Anna might expect to find a snowman Olaf ( Josh Gas ) come alive , able to move and talk ! But failed to persuade Anna to return Elsa , Elsa even more scared because can not control its power , and without knowing it , his attacks on Anna's heart . Elsa creates a giant creature named Marshmallow to drive them . Kristof brings Anna is beginning to freeze to meet Pabbie Troll , and it turns out that only true love can heal Anna before he freezes entirely . Finally Anna ran right to block sword Hans and then he turned into an ice sculpture . Elsa were surprised attacked Hans , then hugged Anna who becomes sculpture and sobbed . At that time there was a miracle that restore Anna and the whole Arandelle . It turns out true love is meant to also mean sincere love between brother and sister . After that , they live happily ever after !

FILM REVIEW
Frozen story can be said to be interesting , because the theme of brotherhood among women and not just love fairy tale prince and princess style like most . Even the twist of betrayal Hans ( after they were singing a song that is so intimate duet ) managed to make a big difference , plus when the main character chooses to save his sister . Too bad storytelling Frozen weakened halfway , where the flow slows down , started many dialogue scenes lifeless and empty the old , such as confusion to draw up the final story . Another downside is where Elsa could not explain how they will have the strength , while Anna is not . Also who is the little troll funny shaped rocks (not at all big and sinister troll like it should) and their connection to the power Elsa ? If you remember again , which led to Elsa shut down , which became the origin of the problem is when Elsa Troll suggest to keep your distance and be careful . But they will not be portrayed evil trolls in this movie , but based on reason , it is they cause Elsa becomes foreign . Like the animated film , logical things like the need to eat to live ( there are scenes only eat chocolate fondue and carrots ) and sleep (which is just fainting ) is often not a concern . Even the logic of time and distance does not appear in this film , which may only be noticed by an adult audience .

The characters that exist in more or less Frozen somewhat similar to descriptions and formulas Tangled , especially Sven - deer -like dog that is reminiscent of the horse Maximus . Apart from that , the characters are able to live in the memory of the audience . Princess Anna energetic but sloppy , in contrast with the Queen Elsa mature and graceful . Prince Hans who appeared like men dream of all women , in contrast with the more populist Kristof : mediocre, messy , smelly , but sincere . Do not forget the imaginary creatures such as Marshmallow , a large , sinister , and soft ( because of snow ) ; and Olaf who should be given a role to evoke audience emotion about childhood Anna - Elsa , and not just be an adorable snowman .

MUSIC REVIEW
Musically speaking , it is a common view that it is more prominent in the animated Disney - Pixar musical than the more powerful in terms of story . So did the audience will not get to cry because of the story , but will listen to his music touched . The husband and wife Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson - Lopez worked to make the lyrics and music of the original score by Christophe Beck created by Tim Daviessebagai conductors and orchestration . Beck is not yet too inexperienced to make music for the length animated film , but he has just won an award for music in a short film Paperman . Music in Frozen much inspired by Norway and the Sami culture , especially in the works of opening that is adapted from a folk song . Beck and Davies works efficiently arguably musically , though not particularly innovative , but many are performed with a simple melody as sweet as the selection of instruments and the right time . In the section that should be creepy , able to raise the tension without making children less frightened .

While the Lopez family gathering song is very commercial and would like the community . One song that touches the heart is " Do you want to build a snowman ? " , Especially when little Anna said , "okay , bye " and then imitated by the solo clarinet . The musical scene depicts changes in the age of the characters , what they experience and they missed once. Alloy lyrics and music are very smart . Kristen Bell was chosen as the voice of Anna Prince after the production team heard the record cover songs of The Little Mermaid when she was young . Besides " Love is an open door " is also a song that is dynamic , because it could be considered rare Disney created a duet love song with a lively tempo . Listeners woman could certainly fall in love Fontana hear vocals that are not too good but feels " good-looking " . Applause given to Idina Menzel , the Broadway veteran , managed to turn on the song " Let It Go " , which made adjusting vocal range , although for some of the less familiar ear to be disturbed by the sound sharp on the high registers . Demi Lovato also sang a cover version of " Let It Go " with more modest . The song is arguably the most " catchy " . To track Olaf , who missed the snowman and sang summer , raised a different style to be refreshing number . Disney issued a Deluxe album which also serves not only the song and original score , but also demo score, instrumental , and the work is not so used .

Frozen success on the box office , so we can be sure , the Princess still prevail in the arena of world animation . A family -themed movie that is able to break the ice and the atmosphere can be enjoyed by all walks of life . 8/10 for Frozen , both for the music and the movie itself .

145. PASSIVE VERB FORMS

ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE
       PASSIVE VOICE

The passive voice is a grammatical construction (specifically, a "voice"). The noun or noun phrase that would be the object of an active sentence (such as Our troops defeated the enemy) appears as the subject of a sentence with passive voice (e.g. The enemy was defeated by our troops).
The subject of a sentence or clause featuring the passive voice typically denotes the recipient of the action (the patient) rather than the performer (the agent). The passive voice in English is formed periphrastically: the usual form uses the auxiliary verb be (or get) together with the past participle of the main verb.
For example, Caesar was stabbed by Brutus uses the passive voice. The subject denotes the person (Caesar) affected by the action of the verb. The agent is expressed here with the phrase by Brutus, but this can be omitted. The equivalent sentence in active voice is Brutus stabbed Caesar, in which the subject denotes the doer, or agent, Brutus. A sentence featuring the passive voice is sometimes called a passive sentence, and a verb phrase in passive voice is sometimes called a passive verb.
